I'm Aaron, I handle the new business at Purple, Rock, Scissors. I'll work with you to develop and manage your digital strategy. At the concept phase, ideas are passed off to the genius of our design and development teams. From there, I oversee the strategic direction of your account. I love music. I've driven over 100,000 miles and flown across the world in pursuit of it. I guess that means I like to travel, too. I've been to 46 states and 15 countries. I have a map of the world in my office to keep me motivated. I also love to surf and play chess, and I'm freakishly obsessed with my dog, Scout.

ORLANDO (Sept. 29, 2009) – Orlando’s Downtown Development Board(DDB) will unveil on Thursday a new, interactive Web site at www.DowntownOrlando.com, giving residents, visitors and businesses an array of online tools for discovering and showcasing Downtown’s diverse offerings.

Curious about a new restaurant you just heard about? Click on the map for information and location. Need to find the nearest place to park? Click again. Want to catch a movie or performance after dinner? Just click. Google-based maps pinpoint locations and proximity to other downtown attractions and amenities. And the site isn’t just about listings. Each Downtown retail business and event will have a profile so site users can get even more information.

“Creating a user-friendly Web site is critical to supporting existing Downtown businesses, encouraging new development and attracting more people eager to live, work and play in what I consider not just Orlando’s, but Central Florida’s Downtown,” said Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer.

Press Release: Hospice of the Comforter

Enhanced Resources on www.HospiceoftheComforter.org Include Online Tributes, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliance, and English-Spanish Site Conversion

Purple Launches Hospice of the Comforter

We worked with Hospice of the Comforter, a local palliative care provider, to tailor the site’s appearance, language, and tools to the organization’s core demographic, women ages 40-65. Accessibility features were a key focus as we brought the site to compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act. The nonprofit organization’s work in the community was emphasized with features such as tribute pages, photos, event calendar, and The Comfort Line e-newsletter.

HIAS Website Launch

HIAS, the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, is an advocacy group for persecuted and oppressed persons worldwide and has been around since the 1880s. The organization needed to develop a digital strategy to increase awareness of outreach initiatives, attract a younger generation, and increase revenue through online giving. After meeting with executives and an education on the many branches of HIAS, Purple, Rock, Scissors formed online subdomains — such as Global, MyStory, and Advocacy — for each significant facet of the non-profit’s work.

Resource Point, Motion Graphics

Purple, Rock, Scissors put together three motion graphics spots for Resource Point, a local non-profit organization that links individuals in the community who are in need with the appropriate government agencies, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits in order to get the help they need. Narrated by Dr. Joel Hunter, we designed animation with a hand-drawn look and a modern feel.

PRPL Business Cards
